We are a group of actors, artists, innovative minds, directors, producers, Shakespeare lovers, and all around believers that you don’t need a large budget or a company to produce good theater. The Madison Shakespeare project was born out of this notion, and is lead by Greg Harris and Kathy Sliter in the first project: Troilus and Cressida. The show was set to mount in September 09 and run for three weeks in Madison, WI at the Merc Lab on Fair Oaks and East Wash, however due to logistical challenges, we have to table the production until next Spring 2010. There will be a tentative staged reading on Sept. 11th, 2009 at the Merc Lab on Fair Oaks and East Wash. All interested parties are highly encouraged to attend. We encourage you to follow this site as our endeavor unfolds. We do not want your money, we want your attention.

Just wanted to add that we are running for four weeks, through October 3rd. Thursdays will be at 7:30, Fridays and Saturdays at 8. Tickets will be $10 and will be available at the door. We are in the process of setting up a reservation line, so info will be forthcoming.
